About the role

  • Permanent - 30 hours per week
  • Salary Range between $69,674 - $77,670 (pro-rated)
  • Lead a team of dedicated professionals
  • Develop and consolidate our services

Important note: The role will be covered under the scope of the Social Worker Pay Equity Extension with salary range between $95,250 - $122,464 (pro-rated).

About you

  • Registered Social Worker
  • Experience/qualification in clinical supervision
  • Proven ability to build and lead an effective team 
  • Knowledge of parenting and child development
  • An understanding of Care and Protection principles and the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989
  • Experience working with whānau who need support with complex and often stressful situations
  • An excellent communicator who is able to build collaborative networks within the community
  • Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Sound computer and database skills
  • Current driver licence
