Anglican Family Care acknowledges Abuse in Care national apology
At Anglican Family Care, we recognise the significance of the national apology delivered in Parliament on Tuesday, 12 November, to survivors of abuse in care. This moment reflects an important step toward acknowledging past wrongs and fostering healing. We are dedicated to fostering reconciliation and providing support to survivors of historical abuse in the care of Anglican Family Care, or Anglican Methodist Family Care before it. We encourage those impacted to come forward, assured that they will be listened to, treated with respect, and supported with empathy and care. Together, we can work toward a future where safety, dignity, and trust are upheld for all.
We encourage people to contact the General Manager (GeneralManager@FamilyCare.org.nz) in complete confidence.
