Kyle Forde grew up in Dunedin and is intimately familiar with our city. He has a strong desire to help those in need and envisions great possibilities for our community that would enhance the lives of those most in need.

Kyle joined the board of Anglican Family Care  in December 2014 with the desire to give back to our community. “Some people don’t see the extent and hardship of some families here in Dunedin. There are many who need our help and support.” He's inspired to help those less fortunate and hopes to use his skills and work experience to add value to the Anglican Family C are Board. He is currently the Chief Information Officer at Well South and has over twenty years of experience in information technology.

Working in the NGO environment, Kyle has witnessed some drastic funding cuts to local organisations. “Funding cuts are very difficult and hard on the community, “ he says “sometimes there’s a lack of understanding of the impact these cuts will have on families.” With this in mind, he's inspired to work hard for the underdog. “I’m passionate about fighting for a cause.”

Kyle is also motivated to help Anglican Family Care make real and positive changes in our community. “We all volunteered to raise our hand to be on the Board. We don’t just want to warm a seat. We’re here to do some hard work.” He’s particularly interested in strategy development and looks forward to working with other Board members to build long-term sustainability as well as increased collaborations and partnerships with other organisations.

The staff members and leadership of Anglican Family Care warmly welcome Kyle Forde to the Board of Directors. "We are delighted that Kyle Forde has joined our Board. His presence is especially timely as we implement our new ICT strategy, based on the recommendations of the review of our information and communications strategy undertaken in early 2014. We value Kyle’s advice and knowledge in the very specialised area of ICT, as we scope out a way forward in a fast changing environment. We have made significant changes to our agency infrastructure in recent months, and the high calibre and commitment of our Board give a steady direction and support to our work." says Nicola Taylor, Director.
