This year Children's Day Out will take place on Sunday 4th March to mark Children's Day New Zealand.
The event is on from 10am until 1pm at Forsyth Barr Stadium and entry is by gold coin donation. Plunket created this event for Children's Day to give families of children under 5 the opportunity to spend quality time together by taking part in activities and enjoying a teddy bears picnic. This event also provides an opportunity for agencies who work with families to build closer ties to our community and share information with families.
There will be free games and entertainment for children including Rainbow Rosalind and her fairies, Max the magician, RASA Dance group and Amadeo from Otago Museum.
Anglican Family Care will have free arts and craft activities for children to do. We look forward to seeing you there!
