Urgent Food Bank Appeal - Can you help?

Can you please help us restock our shelves ? Supplies at our Food Bank are critically low and we are in need of the following items:

Staples such as:

  • Rice and pasta, breakfast cereals
  • tinned fruit, vegetables, and sauces
  • Margarine and butter
  • Long life milk
  • Spreads (Marmite, Peanut Butter, Nutella, Jam, Cheese)
  • Fresh meat
  • Nappies (esp larger sizes) and wipes 
  • Laundry powder
  • Toiletries, e.g. shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors
  • Lunch box items (muesli and fruit bars, fruit jellies, Up and Go, small tetra packs of fruit juice, crackers and cheese packs)

And also, Christmas treats/items, such as:

  • Chocolates, lollies, puddings, biscuits, chips and dips, lemonade
  • Small gift packs of toiletries
  • New books, toys, and games

Food donations  gratefully received at Anglican Family Care, 266 Hanover Street, during office hours (Monday – Friday 10.30 - 4.30).

You can also donate money to the Foodbank via:

  • credit card

  • cheque posted to Anglican Family Care, P.O. Box 5219, Dunedin 9058
