I would like to acknowledge the significant contribution that my predecessor, Nicola Taylor made to the agency and the Otago community in her 15 years as Director of Anglican Family Care. I also thank the board and staff for their support as I transition into the General Manager role.
Inside this autumn edition of Community Connect, you will learn about an exciting new pilot programme delivered in five low-decile schools in Dunedin: ‘Jade Speaks Up’, which focuses on practical and relational strategies for keeping children safe.
Our services are available to everyone throughout Otago. If you're able to help us in any way, it will help to ensure children living in our region are safe, healthy, happy and able to reach their potential.
Don’t miss reading about our new ‘Wish List’ created to reduce our programme running costs - while identifying resources to help us provide practical support to families we work with.
