Leave a gift in your will

Anglican Family Care (AFC) has been making a difference in the lives of Otago children and their families since 1970. Each year we work with around 1,500 families who are isolated or living with violence, addiction, mental health issues, neglect, abuse or poverty.

Leaving a gift to AFC in your will makes a tangible difference to these families.

We understand that your loved ones come first, but even a small bequest would help improve the lives of Otago children.

My social worker was amazing and the support is great."

Holly, a young mum

By leaving a gift to AFC you are supporting the most vulnerable children in our region to become safe, healthy and happy.

Anglican Family Care provides support to families in Dunedin, Balclutha, Milton, Oamaru, Alexandra, Roxburgh, Cromwell, Wanaka, Queenstown and the rural areas in between.

We offer free support early on to help families improve the lives of their children, including home-based family support, positive parenting programmes and advice, guidance for young or vulnerable mums, counselling and play therapy.

With your help, these vital services can continue to help today’s and tomorrow’s most vulnerable children.

The help we had from Anglican Family Care was a real blessing.

Leaving a gift is simple. Talk to your legal advisor about leaving Anglican Family Care a gift in your will. If you do not have a lawyer you can
find one through the New Zealand Law Society. If you already have a will, your lawyer can write up a simple amendment.

Ways you can help AFC in your bequest include:

» Leaving a fixed amount of money to AFC or a particular asset such as bonds or shares.
» Or, providing a percentage of your estate to AFC
» Or, making a residual bequest, in which you gift the amount left over from your estate once you have provided for loved ones.
